Designation: Deputy Merchandising Manager (DMM) – Apparels
Reporting To: Managing Director
Experience: 15–18 Years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the division’s merchandising function end-to-end, including product development, costing, sampling, order execution, quality and delivery.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with international brands and retailers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of 3–4 merchandisers.
• Manage and develop vendor relationships to ensure quality, capacity and timely execution.
• Coordinate closely with Design, Sourcing, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements.
• Manage the commercial aspects of the business, including costing, pricing, margins, order volumes and profitability.
• Understand customer requirements and market trends to identify new business and growth opportunities.
• Ensure timely execution of orders and proactively resolve issues across development, production and delivery.
• Maintain strong knowledge of apparel categories, fabrics, garment construction and sourcing/manufacturing capabilities.
IDEAL PROFILE
• Strong experience across apparel merchandising and buying-house operations.
• Broad product knowledge across multiple apparel categories.
• Proven track record of managing international customers and developing new business.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, vendor management and team leadership skills.
• Experience with UK or Japanese brands/retailers will be an added advantage.
